Dear Friends,

2007 was an exciting year. What an honor and privilege it was to have the opportunity to serve you in the Minnesota House of Representatives during this past year. Much was accomplished but there is still a long way to go.

I voted for improvements to our education system, but more needs to be done for our students to be competitive in a global economy. A major comprehensive transportation bill, desperately needed in Minnesota, was passed. I also voted for a bill that would have lessened property taxes. A big issue last session and one that will be even bigger this session is health care reform. Numerous meetings have taken place since the last session on this topic alone.

I am running for re-election so the momentum that was started in the House of Representatives continues. I worked hard to make decisions based on common sense that were good for my district and for the state as a whole. I will continue to stand up for the values that make Minnesota a great place to live, to work and to grow.

Please join me in this effort. The last election was won with the hard work of the volunteers. I need your help again. Together we can continue to make a difference.

Sincerely,

Representative Sandra Masin
